Imagine Live Secures Belgian License as Digitain Expands Global Reach

Imagine Live has marked another key milestone in its international growth after receiving an E Category License from the Belgian Gambling Commission, allowing the company to directly provide its live casino offerings to licensed operators within the country.

The license ensures that Belgian operators can integrate Imagine Live’s growing portfolio of live dealer products under the full oversight of the local regulator. Parent company Digitain has also obtained its own Belgian E Category License, enabling it to supply a wide range of solutions to operators in the jurisdiction. These platforms are built to support multiple verticals and modular plug-ins, making them a valuable foundation for operators seeking scalable gaming solutions.

Digitain’s entry into Belgium is part of a broader strategy aimed at establishing stronger roots in Europe while maintaining momentum in new regions. In early 2025, the company strengthened its Maltese operations by appointing Aida Vardanyan as Malta CEO and Gil Soffer as Malta CCO, further embedding itself in a leading European gaming hub.

The company also made notable moves in 2024, including a partnership with LeBull in Poland that enhanced its reach in Central Europe. Describing Belgium, Digitain emphasized that it is “a highly regulated jurisdiction with strict standards to ensure fair play and responsible gaming.” The timing of the company’s entry is significant, arriving just after the Belgian Gaming Commission finalized the appointment of 12 members and 12 alternates, representing six government ministers equally across Dutch- and French-speaking groups, each with six-year mandates.

Belgium’s regulatory effectiveness has also drawn attention abroad. Recently, the Belgian Gaming Commission signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI) to help the newer body strengthen communication and collaboration in building its own regulatory framework.

The Belgian authorization comes on the heels of another achievement for Imagine Live: securing GLI certification for its games in Italy. This recognition, granted by Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), affirms that Imagine Live’s content complies with Italy’s demanding gaming regulations.

GLI certification signals that products have undergone rigorous scrutiny, reducing risks of fraud and guaranteeing alignment with both global standards and local requirements. With the Italian certification, operators in the region can confidently adopt Imagine Live’s content, while players are assured of transparent and secure gameplay.
