MGM Resorts International and its technology partner Playtech have added a new dimension to their “Live from Vegas” initiative with the debut of Family Feud. The latest launch, unveiled on August 28, 2025, marks the first time a live interactive game show has ever been broadcast directly from a Las Vegas casino floor.
The game is a licensed version of Fremantle’s legendary television show and is streamed in real time from a transparent glass studio situated on the bustling gaming floor of the MGM Grand. Accessible to operators in regulated markets outside the United States, the studio already hosts live dealer table games including blackjack, roulette, and baccarat, now joined by the game show format.
Gary Fritz, President of MGM Resorts International Interactive, described the project as a major milestone for the company’s digital growth strategy. “MGM Resorts, with Playtech and Fremantle, is at the forefront of digital gaming, bringing the iconic Las Vegas experience to people around the globe,” he said. “The live dealer studio marks a major step in our growth strategy and pursuit of being the world’s premier gaming entertainment company. We will continue working to create unforgettable moments and new ways to enjoy what the Las Vegas Strip has to offer.”
